What We Do

At Trekker, we don’t try to be all things to all customers. We know what we’re good at, and we stick to it because we believe that consistency and predictability are essential for outstanding customer service.

We serve our customers through our Dry Van and Freight Brokerage operations.

Dry Van

We utilize our fleet of late model Freightliner tractors
and Utility 53-foot dry van trailers in seven power markets across the U.S. to transport our customers’ cargo around and between those markets in a variety of lengths-of-haul and to whatever service standards our customers desire.
Our equipment is operated by experienced drivers who handle our customers’ cargo efficiently and safely.
We provide 24/7/365 dispatch and customer support
We utilize drop lots in key markets to facilitate customer service while keeping our drivers moving.
We contractually dedicate equipment, including power-only applications, to specific customer facilities
upon request

Freight Brokerage

We utilize our large network of partner carriers all across the U.S. to transport our customers’ freight in lanes not traditional serviced by our Van operation
-In addition to the 48 contiguous states, we also provide service to and from most points in Canada
-We develop relationships with our carriers that help ensure an unusually high level of service for our customers
-We are stringent about the qualification and performance standards to which we hold our carriers
-We provide 24/7/365 dispatch and customer service
-We utilize a broad range of technology to provide our customers with visibility into our operation and the status of their freight

Trekker is a diversified transportation and logistics provider serving the 48 contiguous United States and most of Canada. We are headquartered in the St. Louis, MO area with locations in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Texas, and Bogota, Colombia.

Since 1978, we have reliably transported our customers’ freight across a diverse group of industries. We do not attempt to be everything to every customer.
